I'm sure chemists could color code pee nowadays, although the see through feature would most likely serve most of the purpose intended at night. The only thing I might add is a way to make it more environmentally friendly, if possible. As for daytime, there is probably a subset of people who leave their kids with the diaper exposed and they would probably want to stay with something opaque. Good luck!! So, I think that anything that would make the checking process simpler and less intrusive would seem to be a good idea. Perhaps the diaper could "indicate" the presence of number 1, 2 or both.
